The ingredients needed to make Homemade Ghee:
- Get 1 liter Malai
- Prepare 8-10 pieces Ice cubes

To begin making homemade ghee or clarified butter, first dice the butter into cubes so it melts faster when heated.
Steps to make Homemade Ghee:
- Collect malai of milk in a container and refridgerate it (about 1 liter malai).
- Take out malai from refrigerater and beat with beater and keep aside for an hour(by doing so butter and milk separates fast).
- After an hour beat malai for some time with beater or spoon till butter and milk separates
- Now separate the milk in another container.
- In a pan start boiling the butter at low or medium low flame.
- After some time ghee and mawa starts separating from butter. Boil till golden brown or till all the ghee and mawa separates.
- Switch off the flame and stain the ghee in separate container and keep in air tight container.
- You can store this ghee for long time.
- Use mawa to make sweets.
- Make paneer from leftover milk or Knead floor from it to make chapatis or poori more softer
