  2. Add peanuts and fry for 5 mins. Stir continuously and fry evenly.
  3. Melt jaggery with water add the fry peanuts in it.
  4. Grease Little ghee inside a steel plate.
  5. Pour peanut and jaggery mixture into the plate, leave it for few minutes and then cut into small pieces.

Apply a thin layer of oil on top of brittle for glaze. To check the consistency, drop the cooking jaggery syrup into the cold water. Roast peanuts nicely and remove the red skin completely, if you have bought peanuts with the skin. Break as much as possible into half by rubbing the peanuts with. Peanut Chikki is one of the most popular amongst chikkis, the crushed peanut version being as popular as the whole one.
