Instructions to make Modak Samosa:
- Take 2 cups maida in a bowl.
- Add ½ tsp of salt and ½ tsp of carom seeds. Add carom seeds after crushing them with hands
- Now, add 4 tbsp of ghee to the Maida and mix well.
- Bind the maida properly
- Now, pour water gradually in the Maida and knead a stiff dough. Use lukewarm water for kneading the dough.

- Heat a pan and add 1 tbsp of oil to it.
- When the oil is hot, add ½ tsp of grated ginger, 2-finely chopped green chilies, 1 tsp of coriander powder, and roast them
- Take potatoes and mash them
- Now, add ½ tsp of cumin powder, ¾ tsp of red chili powder
- ½ tsp of dry mango powder ¼ tsp of garam masala, and ½ tsp of salt to the pan. Mix the masala well with mashed potatoes and peas
- The potatoes are well-roasted and the stuffing is fragrant, add 2 tsp of green coriander, and mix well. Turn off the heat.
- After 20 minutes, knead the dough a little and make it soft. Now, divide the dough into 2-portions and roll it to increase it by length.
- Divide the rolled dough into small lumps.
- Roll the dough into a disc shape sheet of about 3.5 to 4-inch diameter.
- Put the dough sheet on your palm and place some stuffing in the center.
- Apply a little water around the edges make a shape of modak
- In a kadai heat oil.
- Deep fry the modak samosa in it and serve hot
