- First take a strainer, into it add poha & wash twice & set it aside for about 5-10 mints & let the water drain out completely.
- Excess washing & soaking makes the poha soft, therefore do not do it.
- In a kadai add oil & once the oil become hot add the peanuts & cook till they start to change colour.
- Remove the peanuts in a bowl.
- In the same oil add mustard seeds, once they start sizzling add curry leaves, slit green chillies, chopped onions & green peas.
- Mix well till & cook till the onions are translucent.
- Add the flattened rice along with turmeric powder, cilantro, sugar & salt.
- Cover it with a lid & let it cook on low flame for 2 mints.
- Finally add in some lemon extracted juice all over, mix & cook for few seconds. Switch off the flame.
- Remove the poha in a serving plate & garnish with peanuts,cilantro.
