Steps to make Yeast free veggie Buns:
  1. To make the dough,combine the dry ingredients in a medium bowl: flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Using your hands or a spatula, create a well in the middle of the flour mixture. - Pour the milk and melted butter into the middle. Mix with spatula until it becomes a crumbly consistency.
  3. Transfer the dough to a pastry board or tabletop sprinkled with flour. Knead the dough with your hands until all ingredients are combined and u will get a smooth dough. It will take aprox 10 mins. Divide the dough into 2 portions.
  4. In one portion mix Spinach puree. Knead this for 1 more min. It will be little sticky, u can dust flour and knead it. Keep another portion as it is. Cover and keep both dough for 15 mins minimum.
  5. Heat 1tbsp oil in a pan. Add chopped onions,green chilli & ginger paste.Fry little. Then add mashed green peas, crumbled paneer, salt, sugar, garam masala. Cook for 1 min on low flame by covering it. Add lemon juice. Switch off and let it cool.
  6. Make equal size balls out of both types of doughs. Roll each in equal size rectangular roti. Apply green chutney over plain roll.
  7. Then spread some stuffing over chutney. Then place one green rectangular roll over this. Seal all sides and cut this (joined from 1 end),like in the picture shown👇
  8. Make braids. Then rollit from back side, making a round bun like the picture.
  9. Preheat the oven for 10 mins at 180°c. Keep all the buns in a oven proof dish. Brush the buns with milk and sprinkle some red chilli flakes, sesame seeds.
  10. Now bake these buns in preheated oven for 15/20mins or until done at 180°c. Enjoy these hot buns with green chutney or any chutney of your choice. Sooo crusty from outside and soft from inside. Healthy and tasty☺.
